Allow Free Movement of People across LOC: Nazir Yatoo tells Dineswar Sharma | KNO

PDP General Secretary (Youth) Engineer Nazir Ahmad Yatoo has told centers Interlocutor Dineshwar Sharma that free movement of people should be allowed across Line of Control (LOC) and this should not be restricted to mere visit of relatives across the LOC. Yatoo today met with Dineswar Sharma in Srinagar and discussed several political and developmental issues. Nazir Yatoo also raised his serious concerns over the role of National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Jammu & Kashmir. PDP Youth General Secretary and Vice Chairman JK Cements Ltd told Interlocutor Dineshwar Sharma that role of NIA should be restricted in J&K. During his meeting Yatoo told Sharma that NIA is continuously making arrests in Kashmir from last several months and this is being seriously viewed by public at large and this act undermines the state’s institutions like J&K Police. Nazir Ahmad Yatoo also told Dineshwar Sharma that students , truck drivers , business man are harassed out side the state. On the development side Yatoo demanded financial assistance be provided to all the State owned PSUs especially JK Cements Ltd which is running through losses from last several years. Implementation of Minority Welfare Schemes of Ministry of Minority Affairs be implemented in all the districts of J&K. Creating Tourist villages in Budgam with assistance from Union Tourism Ministry. Implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin for Solid Waste Management. He demanded fair Compensation for farmers affected with Semi Ring Road (Pampore to Ganderbal) land acquisition for which NHAI is going to float tenders soon. On the Political front Engineer Yatoo discussed following issues with Dineshwar Sharma like release of Political Prisoners,handing over of power projects run by NHPC to J&K Govt, Initiating dialogue process on Kashmir issue with all stake holders including Pakistan, ensuring safety and security of Kashmiri people working / studying outside J&K, Increasing frequency of trans LOC bus service and people to people contact. It should not be restricted to relatives only. Yatoo told Sharma that let tourists from Pakistan , PAK come to Kashmir and let people from J&K be allowed be to visit PAK and Pakistan Freely.
